Project Officer
Amanda has been with NQ Dry Tropics since 2006, and
works with the agriculture programme, mostly with grazing projects.
After graduating from university with a degree in Agriculture at
Charles Sturt University, Wagga, she worked at vineyards in
Toowoomba before moving to Townsville in 2002.
Amanda is currently studying towards a Graduate Certificate in
Environmental Management and has a keen interest in monitoring and
evaluation and project development.
Amanda is from a rural background: her parents operate a dairy
farm in the Southern Riverina NSW, her sister has a sheep and
wheat farm in Western Australia, other family members have dairy
farms in the NSW north coast and her grandfather had a dairy and
oyster farm.
