Leah Saltner

Land and Sea Coordinator

Leah Saltner is a Traditional Owner from the Birri-gubba Juru and Bindal tribe in the Burdekin region, North Queensland and is also a South Sea Islander.

She has over ten years experience in indigenous engagement and capacity building Traditional Owners in land and sea management. Leah also has experience in policy positions in both the Queensland and Australian government.

Leah is currently working for the NQ Dry Tropics and supports sixteen Traditional Owner groups to effectively engage and participate in natural resource management.
