Community Engagement Officer

As part of the community engagement team, Paul's role is to ensure that the community is informed, consulted and involved in the activities and processes of the organisation and its partners, build collabration with stakeholders and partners, and to support the community in their capacity to participate in regional-wide land and water management activities.

Paul brings to NQ Dry Tropics his experience working within the community services sector as a Community Support Officer and Community Development Officer for the Burdekin Community Association, providing support, advocacy and capacity-building services to individuals, families and community groups within the Burdekin Shire.

Prior to joining the NQ Dry Tropics team, Paul worked within Centacare as a Family Support Officer supporting families in challenging circumstances.
