SENIOR PROJECT ​Officer​ – strategy & partnerships
NQ Dry Tropics is seeking an experienced Senior​ ​Project​ ​Officer​ ​–​ ​Strategy​ ​and​ ​Partnerships​ ​for a full time position to be based in Townsville.

This position will work on a wide range of initiatives to build partnerships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including:
● helping to develop and implement our Partnerships Plan;
● managing our Engaging Traditional Owners project;
● developing stakeholder networks at the strategic organisational level; and
● supporting the monitoring and evaluation of various NQ Dry Tropics strategic plans.

PROJECT ​Officer​
NQ Dry Tropics is seeking an experienced full-time Project​ ​Officer​ ​to be based in Townsville.

With a strong focus on working as part of the Sustainable Agriculture team, this position will support the adoption of sustainable farming practices in the sugarcane industry within the Burdekin Dry Tropics region.

The Project Officer will support and facilitate:
● an improved understanding of links between land management practices and condition of natural resources;
● adoption of best management practices; and
● the delivery of a financial incentives schemes for farmers.

We are looking for someone with a demonstrated ability to manage projects and a strong ability to communicate and engage effectively with landholders to support practice change.

Company Secretary
Support the Board by performing the duties and responsibilities of a Company Secretary as required by the Corporations Act (2001), the Company’s Constitution, and any other relevant legislation or regulation. The position is well supported (including preparation of agenda papers, and the taking of minutes) by the Corporate Services team and an Executive Assistant. The time commitment for the role equates to approximately 8-10 hours per month, including attendance at Board meeting and Finance and Audit Committee meeting.
