Our primary aim is to ensure the Burdekin Dry Tropics community has access to the best geospatial data available to achieve their natural resource management targets.

 From the GIS Web page you will be able to find information regarding the SPOT 5 satellite imagery purchase for the Burdekin Dry Tropics region. There is also information on software (both free and commercial) that can be used to assist you collect, view or manage geospatial data that you may have received or acquired. Over a period of time we hope to post some user guides or forums on how to achieve particular tasks within a software package. You are welcome to contribute to the development of this knowledge base.
