Our Community Engagement Team

NQ Dry Tropics employs a highly qualified and experienced community engagement team.

It includes a manager - who focuses on the strategic community engagement direction of the organisation, a Land and Sea Coordinator - who focuses on traditional owner engagement and capacity building across the region, and four community engagement facilitators - who focus on the community across four different 'zones' in our region – based at Townsville, Bowen, Emerald, and Charters Towers.

The team works with the community to increase community member participation in land and water management issues, to support the land and water management community, and to build the ability of Traditional Owner’s to manage land and sea country.
