There are a number of main projects which fall
under the groundwater programme area.
Integrated Groundwater Management in the Lower
Burdekin
This project works with key groundwater
stakeholders to improve the ecological health of groundwater
dependent ecosystems, and the sustainability of intensive
agriculture in the lower Burdekin, through improved collaboration
and alignment of effort, improved knowledge transfer, and the
alignment and integration of groundwater management with the wider
management of natural resources.
