At NQ Dry Tropics we aim to facilitate the improvement of land
and water management practices. Part of this role is to work
closely with other organisations, as well as educating the general
public.
We aim to educate and work with the general public through
awareness raising campaigns and promotions such as our current
'Keep Stormwater Clean' advertising campaign. We also partner with
the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority to promote Reef
Guardian Schools in the region.
We believe that working collaboratively is the only way to
achieve improved land and water management outcomes for the region.
The types of organisations we work with include community-based
groups and organisations, industry groups, government agencies,
science organisations including universities, traditional owner
groups, peak industry bodies, and many other natural resource
management groups.
