Skills-based guidance

NQ Dry Tropics is a not-for-profit public company, limited by guarantee.

 Established in 2002, it is registered under the Corporations Act 2001 and the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. It is governed by a skills-based Board of Directors, which sets strategic direction, and ensures financial viability.

Annual mandatory external financial audits are overseen by the board’s Finance and Risk Committee. Directors met eight times during 2023-24, with notable achievements including overseeing the development and launch of the Corporate Strategic Plan 2023-26, and the Reconciliation Action Plan 2023-25 (RAP).
