The Strathmore Station rehabilitation project aimed
to preserve productive land, prevent further topsoil
loss, and stabilise eroded gullies, allowing them to
recover and be restored as functioning ecosystems
over time. Unlike other rehabilitation projects in the region
focused on linear gullies, Strathmore presented a broad amphitheatre of erosion.
