Australian Government’s Climate-Smart Agriculture Program
The Australian Government’s Climate-Smart Agriculture Program is designed to help the agriculture sector make proactive changes in response to climate change.

The Northern Australia Climate Program
The Northern Australia Climate Program (NACP) is a collaborative initiative between the Queensland Government’s Drought and Climate Adaptation Program, the University of Southern Queensland, and Meat and Livestock Australia.
The NACP program delivers cutting-edge research, development and extension outcomes to improve the capacity of the red meat industry in managing drought and climate risk across northern Australia.
The NACP has developed a number of communication products specifically for the northern beef industry.
These include topics such as Northern Rainfall Onset, Green Date, Heat Load Index, Chill Index, and 3-hourly cattle thermal stress forecasts.
